Application

Copperchloride dihydrate serves as a catalyst in organic synthesis, a mordant in dyeing and printing, a disinfectant and fungicide in agriculture and water treatment, a source of copper ions in laboratories and electroplating, and also finds use as a pigment and oxidizing agent in various chemical processes.
